Friday 20 July – Don’t miss the reopening the Echuca Wharf

July 20, 2012

DON’T MISS THE REOPENING OF ECHUCA WHARF!

Be part of history and help celebrate the reopening of the heritage-listed Echuca Wharf at a FREE community
event for residents!

The reopening of the Echuca Wharf is a major milestone of the $14.2 million Port of Echuca Revitalisation project,
being jointly funded by the Australian Government, Victorian Government and Campaspe Shire Council. The 16-
stage project is scheduled for completion by December 2013.

Port of Echuca manager Mark Blunden said ‘It has been a privilege for all of us to have been involved with this
project, something that has never been achieved before, the total deconstruction and rebuild of Echuca Wharf. It’s
something we are unlikely to see again and an achievement that the local Echuca Moama community should be
very proud of. We would encourage all locals to come & celebrate this once in a lifetime event.’
The evening will include a spectacular fireworks display marking this momentous occasion.
