Dan Sultan to play Riverboats Music Festival
The Riverboats Music Festival continues to cements its place as one of Australia’s best boutique events with another outstanding lineup for 2015.
The lineup features Dan Sultan, Sarah Blasko, Tex Perkins and the Dark Horses, The Whitlams, The Bamboos, Magic Dirt’s Adalita, Bad Seed Mick Harvey, Diesel, Fraser A Gorman, Sal Kimber & The Rollin’ Wheel, Steel Angelico & The Switch, Matt Walker & The Lost Ragas and Raised By Eagles.
With Aussie rock legends and seasoned performers, brought together with the next batch of Aussie stars festival producer David Frazer seems to have his finger firmly on the pulse of the Australian music landscape.
“We are so excited to be bringing this spectacular lineup to the banks of the mighty Murray next February. Riverboats provides festival-goers with an opportunity to experience a truly beautiful part of Australia without the queues, ticket prices and hassle of larger events. We are particularly proud of the fact Riverboats has remained boutique in both its size and philosophy, yet continues to attracts artists of the calibre of Dan Sultan, Sarah Blasko, Tex Perkins and the Whitlams”, said Frazer.
Revelers who want a little more from their weekend away can also attend the official festival breakfast at the Beechworth Bakery, featuring an intimate performance from Melbourne alt-country outfit, Raised By Eagles. For those who purchase the Deluxe Festival Pass, they’ll be treated to a two-hour paddle steamer cruise aboard the PS Pevensey, with tunes provided by Sal Kimber & The Rollin’ Wheel.
With a three-day festival pass costing only $120, go see why the The Basics called it “the new Meredith” when the Riverboats Music Festival steams into Echuca-Moama from February 13-15.
