    The Sound of Music 01-Jun-2012 Echuca Musical Theatre Company: The Sound of Music The sound of music tells the story of a freedom loving young postulant who becomes a governess to captain von trapp's seven troublesome children. Music, Love and Laughter ensue. However as the Nazi's invade Austria, their homeland, many changes force them to flee for their lives. Come along and witness the story unfold and enjoy the songs from the show, including Climb every mountain; Do-re-mi; Sixteen going on Seventeen; Edelweiss; The Sound of Music. At the Paramount Theatre Echuca over two weekends - Friday 1st June at 8.00pm; Saturday 2nd June at 2.00pm and 8.00pm; Sunday 3rd June at 2.00pm; and then again fromThursday 7th June at 8.00pm; Friday 8th June at 8.00pm; Saturday 9th June at 2.00pm and 8.00pm.
