    YMCA Echuca Mini
    12 am - 11 pm

YMCA Echuca Mini is a fantastic event in its own right and is great preparation for paddlers taking part in the YMCA’s Massive Murray Paddle in November. The first day’s paddle is 50km from Barmah and finishing in Echuca, covering part of the traditional third days course of the Massive Murray Paddle. Then back it up the following morning with a fun 8km paddle/race against the historic Echuca Paddlesteamers as part of the Sweat V’s Steam Event. (Sweat Vs Steam is a combination of running – 5km or 13km fun run and paddling – 8km along the mighty Murray River against the historic Paddlesteamers of Echuca). Sweat vs Steam
    12 am - 11 pm

The Sweat v's Steam is a  footrace against the world's oldest wooden hulled paddle steamer - the PS Adelaide. The Greater Murray YMCA conducts the annual Sweat v's Steam Fun Run each year, with all money raised being donated to the Echuca & District Youth Services Fund, auspiced and run by the YMCA Greater Murray. The Sweat Vs Steam is considered to be the one regional fun run not to be missed. Why? Some say the tracks are the best you'll find, others say it's the scenery and because you have a real chance of beating old Adelaide. We think its the friendliness of Echuca, the free breakfast and the beautiful weather. The run is a unique experience and walkers are encouraged to participate. Though runners need to complete the 13KM run against PS Adelaide to be able to claim they have challenged the Adelaide, all competitors irrespective of race category can obtain a commemorative certificate showing they have competed in the Sweat Vs Steam against the PS Adelaide. The Run begins at 8.00am, however all registrations need to be done online prior to the day. Contact: 5482 2517
